A similar arrangement has been made with the

lessees of Kowloon Inland Lot No.756 for a re-adjustment of

that lot and for the acquisition by them, on the same terms

of a small area adjoining it, also shown on the plans en-

closed. Your Lordship's sanction is requested for this

also.

I take this opportunity of informing Your

Lordship that the cutting down of the hill at the junction

of Robinson Road and Gascoigne Road North, referred to in

my despatch above quoted, is now proceeding satisfactorily

and is being carried out as I hoped it would be by the

owners of Kowloon Marine Lot No.49 in connection with the

reclamation of an extension of that lot and without expense

to Government.
